Title: How to use the Registry Settings tab in GoodTools

Fact:

GoodTools is an easy way of running the some of the Command Line tools out lined in Chapter 8 of the Good Link Administrator's Guide. Here, we will discuss the Registry Settings tab in GoodTools: If you want to see how to use any of the other utilities with GoodTools, on this top picture, click the tab that you wish to see information about.

*Note: We usually launch GoodTools.exe from the default path of "C:\Program Files\Good Technology\GoodLink Server\util" (it might not be a bad idea to have the Admin create a shortcut on the GoodMobile Server desktop for this).

In certain cases we may need to disable some features of Good Mobile. This tab allows us to disable Public folder processing, Create Profiles, or to set the Cache size to a different setting. Once we have selected the appropriate values, we click on the Change button to apply them. After they are applied we get a confirmation box:

These settings should then take effect after restarting the GoodLink Server service.
