Title: Error 49: Disconnected from server
Symptom: The handheld screen displays Error 49: Disconnected from server.
Cause 1: The user was manually removed from the Good Management Console (GMC).
Remedy 1: Re-add the user to the GMC and setup the handheld per the normal process. If the user wasn't removed then check to see if this user's mailbox was moved for any reason or if there was maintenance on the Exchange Server at that time and if the GoodLink Server service was stopped beforehand. In those cases hitting "r" may resolve the problem or lead you to an error 44 or error 73. Please review the following articles if you encounter another error. Error 49 then error 44 or Error 49 then error 73.
Cause 2: The user's cache folder was deleted, lost, or corrupted on the Good Messaging server.
Remedy 2: Hitting "r" will wirelessly reconnect the user and create a few cache folder. There shouldn't be any reason to re-add the user to the GMC in this case. Note: hitting "r" only erases and re-synchs the Good user data on the handheld and does not hard reset or erase third party data from the handheld or SD card.
