Managing Your Outbox
After you send a message, it goes to the Outbox before it is delivered and remains there until it is sent to the network. Most of the time, this happens so quickly, it is something you do not notice while using Email; however, if you are working offline, or messages contain large attachments, messages can spend some time in the Outbox.
You can manage your Outbox, allowing you to monitor the sending progress of messages with and without attachments, change the sending order of outbound messages, and read and edit messages before they are sent off to the network.
Aside from standard list view options (View, Go to Folder, Find Messages, Options and Good Launcher), each message in the Outbox list view can be:
- Deleted permanently
- Moved to the Drafts folder
- Edited as a Draft
- Sent First (moved to the top of the Outbox)
- Viewed as a read-only message
Responding to messages directly from the list view is not allowed. Outbox messages must be opened in order to forward or respond to them.
